Duxbury, Vermont is a town in Washington County, located just south of Waterbury, off I-89 in central Vermont. Duxbury is not a common place-name, there being only two other towns in the US with the same name. Duxbury claims to be the only municipality in the United States which has an elected position of dogcatcher.
