The Nature Museum’s annual celebration of wild creativity returns on September 27th and 28th to the heart of Grafton, VT. The Fairy House Festival features a village of unique fairy-sized buildings made from all-natural materials by dozens of volunteers. This event includes performers, local merchants and food vendors, family crafts, and the opportunity to build-your-own fairy house with a small-town community vibe.

Come as you are, or be inspired to dress up in your fairy finery with sparkling wings, scales, or tails. Greet the Fairy Royal Court before heading out on the trail, which features roughly 80 fairy house installations, including a gentle, grassy fairy “loop” path around the pond that is more accessible.

Proceeds from the festival support The Nature Museum’s year-round work reconnecting people to the natural world, including through camps, all-ages workshops, school programs, educational exhibits, habitat conservation, the Fish Ladder Visitor Center in Bellows Falls, and a natural play area open daily to the public.
