Formed in 2024, the Equinox Wind Quintet has already established itself as one of Vermont’s premier wind ensembles. The group has performed at the UVM Recital Hall in Burlington, at venues throughout the state, and live on Vermont Public Classical. Its five members share a wealth of performance experiences, from playing in the Vermont Symphony Orchestra, in pit bands, and recording movie soundtracks. The group will perform “Inspired Styles,” featuring innovative music by German composers Ludwig Van Beethoven and Paul Hindemith, and American composers William Grant Still, Vincent Persichetti and former Braintree resident Gwyneth Walker.
