Duo Dolce features Laura Markowitz on violin and John Dunlop on cello. Both are members of the Vermont Symphony Orchestra and perform with ensembles including Eleva Chamber Players, the Opera Company of Middlebury, Cricket Blue, and the Rhizome Quartet, as well as alongside vocalist Moira Smiley. John also performs with the TURN and Jukebox ensembles, premiering cutting-edge contemporary music, while Laura performs with Sylvia, a quartet dedicated to music by women composers. Their program will showcase an eclectic mix of baroque, classical and modern repertoire and even a few Celtic and Swedish tunes.
