Our a-frame has been designed with comfort and experience in mind. It's our home that we want to share with you. While there aren't neighbors super close by, noise carries and we request quiet hours outside after 9:00pm and no parties.
*please note, we are no longer dog friendly during the winter months* One well behaved dog allowed with a $50 pet fee. If you are bringing a dog, we require that you let us know when you request to book. If you have more than one dog, please contact us for consideration which would be an additional $50 fee. We ask that you be respectful of this request since we are striving to keep the a-frame pup-friendly. No other animals, including cats, allowed.
House will be fully available to guest. The a-frame has keyless access- we will send the code prior to your arrival. We have a washer/dryer in a locked room that we will allow guests staying over a week to use.
* For holiday weekends, your booking
must include Friday, Saturday, and
Sunday evenings.
* The master bedroom is located in the
open loft and is accessed by a spiral
staircase. The loft master includes a
half bathroom.
* The basement is the 3rd bedroom
which has 4 twin beds (that can
become king beds) and is also the
game room with shuffleboard, a TV,
and Nintendo. The staircase to the
basement is steep - please use the
handrails.
* Cell service, while generally decent,
can be spotty at times - it isn't like
being in a city. We have a cell booster
to help with service.
* We have Starlink wifi service. It's fast, but not super high speed. There is free
wifi in town and also offered at the coffee shop.
* We have a ring security camera
located in the front of the house, used for
check-in and for your safety and the
safety of the home while vacant.
*please note The Kingdom Trails close Oct 31 and reopen sometime in May for mountain biking. It opens for fatbiking when there's snow.
*there is usually a fire ban starting in April or May through May. It's weather dependent, but during that time you are unable to use the fire pit. We will notify you.
*we have the driveway plowed and the streets are maintained by the town, but this is Vermont and in the winter roads can be...wintery. In the spring the roads can be muddy. 4wd/AWD isn't necessary, but always helpful.
