The space

Charming, 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom private upstairs Carriage House apartment in the best location in Manchester Village, Vermont. Ideal rental for someone looking to move to the area. Available for the weekend. Discounts on longer stays for the month, season or year. and discounted. Call me at The Wilburton inn to discuss.

This private Carriage house is located on a quiet, historic side street next to gracious turn of the century mansions.

Stroll Manchester Village's historic marble sidewalks (featured in The Guiness Book of World Records!) to shops, restaurants, hotels and golf. Hike to Equinox Pond and Equinox Mountain right from your front door.

This upstairs apartment is a wonderful getaway for Fall Foliage or ski season. Bromley Mountain is only 8 miles away. Stratton Mountain is 18 miles away.

The Carriage House sleeps 4.

A brand new kitchen complete with all appliances was put in the summer of 2022.

The open floor plan with the kitchen, bar and living room makes the house great for entertaining and hanging out together.

There is a king bedroom with a new mattress, a charming library with two twin beds.

Work from home on an antique roll-top desk in an office adjacent to the library. Excellent wifi so you can work remotely from here.

The living room features handsome leather furniture, great for relaxing after a day on the slopes or at the vermont summer festival horse show, a huge smart TV, and propane fireplace.

Outdoor space includes a quiet garden with a BBQ, fire pit, hammock and outdoor dining table, and garden.

Abraham Lincoln's son, Robert Todd Lincoln lived in the mansion and kept his horses in this carriage house. The very cool bar in the Carriage House dining area is made from the wood on his stables!

This is a very special place with lots of character. It is an ideal space for a family or couple looking to be in a central quiet location in Manchester.

Dogs are welcome for an additional $125.

The downstairs space is just for our extra furniture storage for our family hotel. It is not included in the rental.

My sister and I live in the mansion next door and are available for any maintenance issues. We have housekeepers who can provide additional cleaning if you would like.

Feel free to try me at The Wilburton Inn directly with any questions.

We look forward to helping you enjoy a wonderful time in Vermont!

PS = when rented as a seasonal/annual rental - all utilities included except heat and electric.
