Guest access

Guests have access to the entire house. We have a locked closet in the basement and have locked the shed.

Our driveway can accommodate 4 vehicles. 4WD/AWD or snow tires is a necessity for the unpaved, hilly driveway during all seasons.

Our doors are equipped with electronic locks. You will receive a unique code for entry that will only be valid during the duration of your booking.

We ask that guests enter through the basement level French doors for the safest and easiest access to the house.

Other things to note

Our home is tucked off the main road up a hill. During the winter, the roads are regularly plowed so getting around isn’t too difficult. However, our driveway is steep and unpaved and all wheel drive or 4WD vehicles are necessary for safely getting to the house during all seasons. Our driveway will be regularly plowed and sanded in the winter.

Cell service is very spotty coming up into the neighborhood depending on your carrier. If you have already put the directions into your GPS then you will have no problem. We have WIFI at the house so you should not have any problems making calls over WIFI or with general connectivity.

Vermont is home to a lot of wildlife including bears, coyotes, foxes, spiders, etc. You may encounter some of them during your stay. To keep these wild encounters outside we appreciate your cooperation in keeping screens closed when you have the doors open and making sure all food and garbage is properly stowed.

The home is equipped with 3 outdoor security cameras. Two overlook the deck/driveway entrances and the other the basement entrance. These are for the safety of our guests and of our home. Any tampering of these cameras is grounds for immediate eviction. There is also a noise monitoring device that will send notifications if the decibel level is too loud.
