Lucky Penny was a pipedream, a wish we had decades ago. Our daughter, Penelope, was born nine weeks early in 2019 after a scary and medically challenging pregnancy. After keeping her as safe as possible during the pandemic, we realized the time was now or never. We decided to look for a mountain home in 2021. We fell in love with the charm of Vermont, the tranquility, and the idea of giving our daughter lifelong memories - so we bought our home. We knew we wanted to name the house but we were having a hard time figuring out her identity. One day, Penny ran from one end of the backyard to the other while squealing and shrieking with pure joy. It was in that moment I knew that our house was Lucky Penny. We are the lucky ones. We can't wait to share our lucky place with you.
