Thursday, 9/5/24

Morning:
Breakfast at Home
Activity: Equinox Pond Trail Hike
A scenic hike through the beautiful Equinox Preserve with easy-to-moderate trails. Perfect for a morning start!
Midday:
Lunch: Road Runner Cafe in Manchester

Afternoon Activity: Visit the Manchester Farmers' Market and explore Downtown Manchester.
Explore local vendors, artisan crafts, and seasonal produce. Wander through charming streets filled with unique shops.
Evening:
Dinner: Home-cooked meal and relax
Day 2

Friday, 9/6/24

Dorset Quarry
Morning:
Breakfast at Home
Activity: Cutler Memorial Trail Hike
A moderate hike with beautiful views. A great choice for a leisurely afternoon walk.

Activity: Dorset Union Store and Village Walk
Check out the dang cute town of Dorset - sure it's small, but it's also quiet!
Midday:
Lunch: H.N. Williams
A classic Vermont Country Store with literally a little of everything!

Activity: Swimming at Dorset Quarry
Enjoy a refreshing swim in this historic marble quarry, a local favorite spot.
Evening:
Dinner: Pizza Party on the Patio
Day 3

Saturday, 9/7/24 - Happy anniversary!!!

Morning:
Breakfast at Home from Willoughby's Cafe - put your order in early (Adam leaves for basketball at the crack of dawn).

Midday:
Late Morning: Stratton Gondola Ride
Take a scenic gondola ride to the summit of Stratton Mountain for breathtaking views.

Afternoon Activity: Fire Tower Hike
The trailhead is marked approximately 50 feet down “Mike’s Way” on left. Follow this trail from the Summit of Stratton to the old Fire Tower, which marks the true summit of Stratton Mountain and the crossing of the Long and Appalachian Trails. Check in with Tower hosts for the latest trail news, or climb the tower for 360 views of the surrounding area. Approximately .75 miles each way.

Afternoon Activity 2: Pikes Falls
Pikes Falls features a 20-foot cascading waterfall, with a perfect swimming hole at its base.

Lunch: Honey Pie

Earth Sky Time Exterior Farmhouse Concert
Morning:
Breakfast at Dina’s
Activity: Pickleball at Manchester Rec Center and Goldie Swing Sesh

Activity: Manchester Shopping
Support Manchester capitalism and be wowed by the marble sidewalks (no, really).
Midday:
Lunch and relax at the house or Manchester eatery
Evening:
Activity and Dinner: Earth Sky Time Concert

Take your pick (or make for a very sloooooooow drive and choose them all! Here are some of our favorite BTV Breweries:
Evening:
After all that brewing, surely you're ready to head to the Notch Road and check into Smugglers' Notch for the night!
Day 8

Thursday, 9/12/24

Smugglers' Notch Resort Fall Foliage Mountain Trails
Morning:
Breakfast at Smugglers' Notch

Activity: Sterling Pond Hike
Midday:
Snacks and Hike at Trapps Family Lodge and Brewery
Afternoon:
Time to hit the ol' dusty trail and head back to NC - make sure to bring some souvenir brews home with you!
