A delightful year-round vacation destination where our guests can enjoy our historic hospitality, and walk, bike, or drive to their favorite attraction then return to the relaxing comfort of our Inn.
Residing in the heart of the Champlain Valley, The Middlebury Inn has been welcoming guests since 1827. Overlooking the village greens of this Vermont shire town, our historic inn boasts of beautiful and elegantly restored guest rooms and suites graced with formal Victorian accents. The Porter Mansion, an annex to the Inn and built in 1825 by Jonathon Wainwright, offers nine additional guest rooms accessed by a lovely circular staircase and serves well for business or family retreats. In 1968, 20 additional rooms were added with exterior entrances and a more contemporary look.
