Vermont.com Guide to

Woodbury

We Are
Vermont.

Woodbury is a town in Washington County, of the Waterbury-Montpelier region. Some say the town may have been named for Colonel Ebenezer Wood, who was listed second among the grantees, however several of the grantees had "Wood" in their names (such as Woodbridge and Woodward). There is also the possibility that the town was named for Woodbury, Connecticut.
