Weybridge

We Are
Vermont.

Weybridge is a town in Addison County, of the Middlebury-Vergennes region.

It is unknown where the origin of the town name came from. It is possible that either the grantees or Benning Wentworth had some ties with Weybridge, Surrey, England, and that the name had meaning for them, though they left no record of it.

Some notable people of the area include: Claire D. Ayer, a Vermont state senator; Darius Clark, a physician & politician; Sidney Lawrence, a congressman; and Silas Wright, a senator.
