Peru

We Are
Vermont.

Peru is a town in Bennington County, of the southwestern Manchester-Bennington region of Vermont. Home to the Bromley Mountain ski area, the town was originally known as "Bromley" until the name was changed to Peru by the land grantees as a way of attracting land buyers to the area. At the time, the name "Peru" was associated with South American wealth.
