Lake Elmore, Vermont is a town in Lamoille County, just north of the village of Elmore, and is home to the Elmore State Park. According to the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks, and Recreation, the town calls itself "The Beauty Spot of Vermont."
Lake Elmore and Elmore Mountain, which rises almost from the lake's shore, are prominent features of the town. The lake is a 219-acre (0.89 km2) body of water, located northwest of Elmore, and drains into the Lamoille River through Elmore Pond Brook at the northern end.
