Guildhall

We Are
Vermont.

Guildhall Vermont is a town in and the shire town (county seat) of Essex County, on the eastern border of Vermont, across the Connecticut River from Northumberland, NH. According to a large sign in the town center, it is the only town in the world so named. The name derives from a meeting house on the square called the Guildhall.

Guildhall is located in the beautifully scenic Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, an area that National Geographic selected as part of their geotourism program for sustainable destinations, and is ideal for year-round recreation activities.
