Fletcher is a town in Franklin County, of the Islands & Farms region. The town was granted by the legislature to some of the men who were then holding the most important jobs in Vermont government at the time. Among them was General Samuel Fletcher, who was in every engagement that involved Vermonters during the Revolutionary War.
