Throughout history, composers from Woody Guthrie to Ethel Smyth turned to music in the face of hardship. In this Vermont Symphony Orchestra string quartet concert, we look to composers who have created music for hope, resistance, and change, charged with the need to speak out and be heard. Thursday, October 16 at 7:30pm; pay-what-you-can tickets $15-$35 available via Eventbrite. Grab a drink and food from Burlington Beer Co's restaurant and enjoy it during the concert! Duration: 90 minutes.
