As part of Vermont Health Careers Awareness Month, Northern Vermont Area Health Education Center (AHEC), in partnership with the Governor's Institutes of Vermont and Lyndon Institute, will host VT Health Careers Field Day on October 18 - a FREE statewide event designed to inspire the next generation of Vermont’s health workforce. This free event features two parts: hands-on lifesaving skill training and a Health Career Exploration Expo.
Students and community members will:
* Participate in hands-on skill sessions such as Hands-Only CPR and Stop the Bleed
* Connect with colleges, hospitals, and health professionals at the Health Career Exploration Expo
* Explore the many pathways into health care careers that strengthen Vermont communities
Join us to spark curiosity, build skills, and highlight the opportunities in health care across our state.
