The Levitt AMP St. Johnsbury Music Series presents Ashley Jane’s Hootenanny, on Railroad Street, at 7pm, June 27th, as part of June’s Final Friday festivities by Discover St. Johnsbury. The concert, presented by Catamount Arts, starts at 7 and will cap off a full afternoon of free, all-ages fun in downtown St. Johnsbury beginning at 4pm.
Dust off your cowboy boots and get ready to scoot your way to the dance floor! Proudly playing the classics from the golden age of country music, Ashley Jane's Hootenanny is a root'n, toot'n, good time, sure to get audiences of all ages toe-tapping, two-stepping, and singing along.
Ashley Jane’s Hootenanny includes Bethlehem, NH’s own Ashley Jane Warwick (guitar/vocals), North Country icon Steve Wright on strings, renowned drummer Brian Warwick, and the legendary Chris Cruger on bass. A honky-tonk hoedown right here in the Kingdom, Ashley Jane’s Hootenanny plays your granddad’s country-western favorites as well as original songs guaranteed to become new summer shindig favorites.
The Levitt AMP St. Johnsbury Music Series brings 11 free, family-friendly summer concerts to two St. Johnsbury locations: weekly at Dog Mountain, on Sundays at 5pm, starting July 13th; and monthly on Railroad Street, for June, July, and August Final Fridays, at 7pm.
Monthly Final Fridays include over 30 free, family-friendly activities beginning at 4pm, when Railroad Street closes to vehicular traffic and welcomes food trucks, portrait painting, sidewalk sales, art strolls, dance demonstrations, games, live music, and more. The fun goes beyond Railroad Street up Eastern Avenue where shops and businesses welcome revelers with ice cream, dance parties, fine art, wine tastings, and other attractions.
