LYNDONVILLE - The 2026-27 KCP Presents Performing Arts Series welcomes Dorrance Dance back to Lyndon Institute, Friday, November 6th at 7pm. Students attend free.
Featuring Elizabeth Burke and Luke Hickey, Dorrance Dance is led by MacArthur Genius Fellow Michelle Dorrance, dubbed, “one of the most imaginative choreographers working today,” by the New York Times.
Combining breathtaking athleticism, infectious rhythm, live music, and inventive choreography, Dorrance Dance tap dancers reinvent rhythm, for innovative, sophisticated, and irresistibly entertaining performances. Every dancer becomes both musician and storyteller, turning the stage into a vibrant percussion instrument.
Whether you’re discovering tap dance for the first time or you’re a longtime fan seeing it anew, Dorrance Dance reveals extraordinary beauty, joy, and imagination in one of America’s original art forms. It explores what is most thrilling, brilliant, and beautiful about tap dancing: that it is both the movement and the music.
