The next Montpelier Art Walk is coming up on October 2, from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. This event is a fantastic way to get a taste of the local art scene in our sweet city.

During Art Walk, Artisans Hand is excited to feature the work of Montpelier printmaker Jo Marsan of The Campy Bird Studio. They’re the second participant in our Emerging Artisan & Art Walk Program.

Jo creates handmade prints of native Vermont plants and animals with an emphasis on line-work, contrast, and vibrant color. They print using environmentally-friendly water-based inks on 100% cotton paper.

They received their BFA in printmaking from Ohio University before settling in Vermont. In addition to printmaking, Jo has a background in graphic design and mural arts. If you're ever in Morrisville, be sure to check out their gorgeous mural at the Village Center Apartments on Hutchins Street.

Guidebooks are available in the gallery now, so be sure to stop by and get yours!

We look forward to seeing you!
