The Town of Manchester and its Parks and Recreation Department provide comprehensive programs for all ages, community events like concerts and festivals, and maintain five parks, the largest of which is the Dana L. Thompson Memorial Park, also known as the Rec. Park by local residents.
The Park encompasses more than 95 acres, the recently built Park House, 6 lane swimming pool with diving board, three baseball diamonds, softball field, multipurpose athletic fields, three playgrounds for kids of all ages, one-mile walking path and 400m running track, a dog park, 6,000 square foot skatepark, three outdoor basketball courts (with lines for pickleball) and three tennis courts.
Restrooms are available at the Park House.
The Park is open daily until 10:00 PM.
