The Washington Post described Kenneth R. Meyer as “a thinking man’s guitarist who plays with impressive gravity and power.” Active within the global guitar community, Meyer serves on the boards of the Twisted Spruce Music Foundation, the Classical Guitar Society of Upstate New York, and the Great Lakes Guitar Society. He is professor of guitar at Syracuse University’s Setnor School of Music and regularly appears as a performer, lecturer, adjudicator, and educator at festivals and universities throughout the United States and abroad. Meyer holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the Eastman School of Music and has released recordings on Innova, Albany, Summit, Bridge, and Frameworks Records. His book, Diatonic Arpeggios for Classical Guitar, is published by Mel Bay.
