The Winston Prouty Center is excited to welcome families back for its annual Early Childhood Day of Play on Saturday, June 27 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on the center’s scenic campus, rain or shine. Join us for this free community event for children ages 0-5 and their caregivers, offering a morning packed with engaging activities designed for joyful discovery.
From water play and fairy-house building to sensory stations, gross motor games, dramatic play, and finger painting, there’s something for every little one to explore. Special guests will add to the fun, including story time with the Brooks Memorial Library, Zumbini with Meghan Ohrstrom, cardboard crafts with Corrugated Universe, and food art activities with the Brattleboro Food Co-op!
Snacks and refreshments will be available for families. In addition to playtime, parents and caregivers will have the opportunity to connect with Winston Prouty’s early childhood specialists about resources available.
Sponsors and community partners will also set up tables to share information relevant to local families, including Early Education Services, Brattleboro Littles Alliance, Dad Guild, and more!
The Day of Play is sponsored by Edward Jones, Brattleboro Primary Care, Trust Company of Vermont, Brattleboro Savings and Loan, Coldflame Mechanical, Efficiency Vermont, Europa IT, and Brattleboro Portable Storage.
