Now in its sixth year, “Broadway in Vermont” (Registered Trade Name) returns to Duxbury with some of Broadway's leading stars heading to the Green Mountains for a special outdoor concert event. Vermonter Merritt David Janes, who most recently starred in the Original Broadway cast of “SMASH” and “Back to the Future”, will perform with his friends on Monday, July 20th at 6:00 PM on the grounds at Moose Meadow Lodge in Duxbury. Enjoy hits from classic and contemporary Broadway musicals, along with some original songs. The singers, accompanied by a live band, will perform songs intermingled with stories about their professional journeys. The event will be an intimate look at some of the most legendary musicals and life as a Broadway performer. Gates open at 5:00 PM for picnicking. Parking is limited. Carpooling is encouraged. Food will be available for purchase from JDK BBQ and The Udder Guys ice cream. Tickets are $45 general admission, $30 for students and children, and are available online at moosemeadowlodge.net.
