The Details:

Visit this charming lake cottage anytime of the year. Enjoy an early morning kayak (we have two that you can borrow) and listen to the loons calling. Fish from the end of the dock, swim out to our big yellow raft to sunbathe. An 18 hole golf course is around the corner. Hike nearby trails. Dine al fresco on the patio or deck after grilling your favorite catch. We are well stocked with games, books and there is A/C but we like to feel the breeze come through windows off the lake!!!

The space

You'll pull into a paved parking area and then enter the house through the patio door via keyless entry. The cathedral main room takes in the view of the lake, enjoys wood floors, ceiling fan, windows to let the lake breeze blow through (there is a/c if you'd prefer) and cable and apple TV. Enjoy coffee or your favorite beverage on one of the two decks in comfy lounge chairs, comfy enough to nap in too. The patio has a "Solo" wood fire pit, outside dining and access to your own private dock (when the lake is "swimmable", of course we pull it for the colder months:)) We keep corn hole, lawn dice, spike ball and tiki toss nearby for the competitive side of you. The kayaks are ready to go out whenever you are, the resident eagles are impressive to catch a glimpse of and it's a rare day you don't see the loons. There is a dedicated work area for those moments when you must connect to reality. The bathrooms have been freshly renovated. The main bedroom has a king bed, double closets and a view of the lake, the second bedroom has two built-in twin beds and a built-in desk. Overflow sleeping in the built-in bunk that is located in a hallway is fun for all ages. There are yoga mats, board games, puzzles and a small library and a few toys to enjoy. There are extra throw blankets for curling up with your favorite book in the rocking chair. In the winter you can bring your ice skates, nordic skis or try your hand at ice fishing.

Guest access

You'll have access to the whole house aside from owner's closet.

Other things to note

Remember that we welcome all but the main road around the lake is near so you'll want to be sure to keep an eye on little ones.

What a great place! Came up for a few days of ice fishing and couldn't be happier. The place was just as described and had everything we needed and more. The property and the lake were beautiful. Lee gave clear directions and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!
