White River Junction, Vermont, is a village within the town of Hartford, VT, located at the intersection of I-89 and I-91 in a region known as the Woodstock-Qquechee Region. As the first and largest railroad center in Vermont and New England north of Boston, White River Junction serves as one of the northernmost legs of the Amtrak rail system with the "Vermonter" train stopping daily.
The village is the waypoint community for the towns of Hartland & Norwich, VT, and Lebanon, Hanover, & Plainfield, NH.
