White River Junction

We Are
Vermont.

White River Junction, Vermont, is a village within the town of Hartford, VT, located at the intersection of I-89 and I-91 in a region known as the Woodstock-Qquechee Region. As the first and largest railroad center in Vermont and New England north of Boston, White River Junction serves as one of the northernmost legs of the Amtrak rail system with the "Vermonter" train stopping daily.

The village is the waypoint community for the towns of Hartland & Norwich, VT, and Lebanon, Hanover, & Plainfield, NH. Just across the state line and the Connecticut River, one can find Dartmouth College and the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, both less than 15 minutes from White River Junction, VT.
