We Are
Vermont.

Lincoln is a town in Addison County, of the Middlebury-Vergennes region.

Lincoln was chartered to Colonel Benjamin Simonds and 64 associates. The town was named in honor of his commanding officer, Major General Benjamin Lincoln (1733-1810), who had played a vital role in getting the Massachusetts militia to Vermont to assist at the Battle of Bennington.

Some notable people from the area include: Chris Bohjalian, an author; and Ronald Rood, an author & naturalist.
