Richmond Vermont, is a town in Chittenden County, located east of Burlington, Vermont, along I-89, in the western foothills of the Green Mountains.

Richmond is noted for the Round Church, a rare 16-sided meetinghouse built in 1812-1813.

Some noted residents of Richmond included: Barbara Cochran, Olympic alpine skier & member of the Skiing Cochrans; George F. Edmunds, US Senator from Vermont; Louis Greenough, pioneer & inventor; Joel Furr, Internet personality & coiner of the term "spam;" George Dallas Sherman, first leader of the Burlington Concert Band.
