Huntington Vermont is a town located in Chittenden County, southeast of Burlington, and south of I-89. Originally called "New Huntington," the town was named for landholders Josiah, Charles, and Marmaduke Hunt. The "New" was dropped in 1795.
There are so many peaks in the area that they have not all been officially named, and Camel's Hump State Forest takes up much of the eastern part of the town.
