The farm has been in our family for three generations (so far), since 1942. Prior to this, the Osgood family owned the farm for five generations. They raised “lots” of potatoes here & in fact were known as the Potato Kings of Vermont! They also were one of the largest maple producers in Vermont.
Our family built & ran a dairy farm here until 1986. Since then, we have raised beef cows & have continued to produce maple syrup here since first buying the farm. Both the barn & farmhouse are on the National Historic Registry. Come see for yourself remnants of its old potato days where the scales were set up & there is handwriting on the walls!
