Description: In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness month, we are continuing to honor survivors by hosting a volunteer training this November 2nd, 3rd, and 10th! This free 3 day training is designed especially for community members passionate about making a difference in the domestic and sexual violence cause space. Upon completion of this training, participants will be prepared to: *Identify and understand how systemic and cultural oppression allows domestic and sexual violence to occur. *Earn their Crisis Worker privilege status for Vermont. *Learn how they can make a difference in Washington County, whether it be volunteering on our 24/7 confidential hotline, providing childcare for women survivors, or helping our court advocates! This training runs from 10am - 4pm (with a half hour lunch break each day) and will be filled with empowering ice breakers, powerful stories from current volunteers, and the opportunity to make a profoundly positive difference in your community. To RSVP or if you have any questions, you can contact Rosie at email@example.com. Please RSVP by Friday, November 1st to secure your spot. We look forward to seeing you soon!
