Description: Green Mountain Academy for Lifelong Learning (GMALL) welcomes Wade Lawrence, the Museum Director at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, located on the National Register site of the 1969 Woodstock Music and Art Fair. Why did Woodstock happen? What did it mean to the half-million attendees, the bands, and the local residents? And why are we still talking about it 50 years later? Wade Lawrence will share the stories, sights, and sounds of the world’s most famous rock festival. Registration is $18 in advance or $22 at the door.
