Learn to paint with oils in a fun, friendly, non-competitive environment. This class is ideal for those who have never painted before–no materials purchase is necessary. Just show up and enjoy the process! Ken’s specialty is making this august art form accessible to all. Come explore! New students and students from Ken’s previous classes are all welcome.

Ken Ahlering has loved painting all his life. He teaches and sells his work regularly and exhibits widely. An award-winning member of the U.S. Department of State’s Art in Embassies program, Ken has had paintings in U.S. Embassies in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Montenegro. He currently has a revolving loan to United States Senator Bernie Sanders in the Dirksen Senate Office Building in Washington, D.C.
