Membership Information

You will need a valid registration from Vermont or one of its reciprocating states (NY, PA). Once you have your valid registration, take it to a VASA point of sale to get the memebership application and pay your dues. You will receive a Trail Access Decal and a statewide trail map.

Memberships are good for one year and run January 1 to December 31. Remember that our trails are closed during the winter and our season varies by the severety and length of the winter (typically late May through October).

To participate in the VASA trail system, riders must be at least 12 years old. Anyone under 18 needs to be with someone 18 or older.

Everyone under the age of 18 needs to carry a certified state ATV safety certificate. VASA provides a free classroom course during the spring for all riders. There is also an online course offered by the Vermont State Police.
