The Stowe Reporter was purchased in 1998 by A. Biddle Duke, a journalist and executive who had been working for a media company in South Carolina. He relocated to Lamoille County in April of 1998, and once in Stowe, he vowed maintain the Reporter's tradition of excellence and commitment to community. Over the years, the paper's staff has grown and several new products have been added.
