Rikert Nordic Center in Middlebury, Vermont offers over 55 km of skate and classic skiing, snowshoeing and fatbiking trails. The state-of-the-art snow making system on the 5km Tormondsen Family Race Course allows an early start to the season. This FIS certified homolongated course, designed by renowned trail designer and Middlebury alumnus John Morton, is the home of the Middlebury College Panthers.
Rikert's extensive trails wander through forests and farmlands, along babbling brooks and even pass Robert Frost's summer cabin. Relax and refuel by the Nordic Center's wood stove and enjoy great food and beverages. The Center is fully ADA accessible.
Rikert Nordic Center offers a full-service rental shop and PSIA certified ski instruction.
