Prospect Mountain Nordic Ski Center in Woodford, Vermont is devoted exclusively to nordic skiing and snowshoeing. Because the base lodge is located at an elevation of 2250 feet, the weather is snowier and the season longer than at many other cross country ski areas in New England. Prospect Mountain opens once there is snow on the ground and stays open until the snow disappears. The base lodge provides a warm, inviting space to relax and recharge. The base lodge restaurant offers everything from light snacks to hearty meals.
