Cook Stoves Rule

I left my old friend Ann's house this morning and headed to my new boyfriend's in another town in Massachusetts. This was a new route for me but I was given excellent directions and found it with no problem. Did I ever mention that I am damn good with directions? Not to be modest or anything, but once I have arrived at a location with a set of directions I never have to use them again... even if I don't use that route again for 20 years. Now that's talent don't you think? Besides, everyone knows that I LOVE drives to nowhere in particular, or drives on roads never traveled (by me anyway).

There was no football today so we spent the day doing a bit of shopping, yes I said shopping... but this was fun shopping cause we were together. Then we went home and cooked a pork roast and a whole chicken in an old-fashioned cook stove... you remember the ones... it uses wood. It was so cool, and the meat tasted unbelievable... honestly the best tasting meat I have had in a very long while. We also baked potatoes and steamed some fresh broccoli. I wouldn't want to ever use a regular stove again! I'm thinking ribs for Super Bowl Sunday. Got any other ideas for me?

Ciao for now... Bubbie & Me
